In our Recycling & Waste division, we breathe new life into materials destined for landfills, such as asphalt, concrete, bricks, and construction site rubble sourced from across Australia. Your New Opportunity:
Join us in this pivotal role where you'll lead the team in ensuring exceptional customer experiences and supporting our pillar's success. As our Customer Service Supervisor, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, managing the Weighbridges across seven sites, overseeing the Customer Service team, and supporting transport scheduling and allocation to fulfil daily deliveries.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring safety is paramount and fostering a zero-harm culture
- Managing the Weighbridge and Customer Service team
- Providing training and support to enhance team capabilities
- Delivering high levels of Customer Service both externally and internally
- Handling incoming sales and disposal enquiries, account issues, and more
- Liaising with Sales and Production teams for demand and supply forecasting
- Identifying incoming waste streams and inspecting loads for non-conforming products, especially asbestos
- Assisting with transport fleet scheduling and allocation
- Managing cash handling, EFTPOS transactions, and document tracking
- Office management duties including ordering supplies and office maintenance
- Coordinating weighbridge calibration, maintenance, and repairs
- Other duties as directed by Senior Management team

- Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team
- Strong Customer Service focus with a talent for setting and exceeding standards
- Previous experience in weighbridge operations and civil industry knowledge highly regarded
- Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility
- Cash handling and basic cash balancing skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Good organisational and planning abilities
- Intermediate level computer skills (MS Office)
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Tertiary qualifications in Management/Leadership or similar will be well regarded.
