About you:
Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a Data Analyst, reporting to the Business Improvement Manager. Your primary responsibility will be the maintenance of existing reports and dashboards, and the development of new reporting solutions that measure business performance. You will work closely with the Business Improvement Manager and subject matter experts to analyse existing systems and data sources, and contribute to the implementation of performance metrics and improved reporting solutions. This role plays a key part of Sunwater’s ongoing priority to improve performance by becoming more data driven. Other key responsibilities will include:
- Provide expertise in delivering Power BI reporting solutions
- Provide analytical and data visualisation skills
- Support the configuration of existing systems to simplify and improve the generation of meaningful information
- Develop monthly executive and board reports
You will bring:
You will have demonstrated technical skills in modern management information systems, including the maintenance of data integrity across the data lifecycle and be experienced in transforming data into valuable insights, producing reports and analysis from management information. You will be an effective collaborator and communicator who works closely with stakeholders from across the business, be proactive, goal oriented with excellent attention to detail. In addition, you will have:-
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, or related discipline (desirable)
- Experienced producing Power BI reporting, including the use of SQL, DAX and M code to query, model or transform data
- Knowledge of MS Power Platform and SharePoint useful (desirable)
- Maintain and move rapidly and seamlessly between ‘big picture’ vision and detail/tactical level work plans
