Business Support Officer – Local Government
Looking for an enthusiastic Business Support Officers who is eager to gain a foothold in their local council. This position will see you working alongside the Local Government team to provide a range of administrative and customer service tasks to ensure effective and efficient delivery of departmental operations. This highly sought-after position will entail the following:
- Up to $37.45 p/h + 11% Super
- January Start
- Petrie Location – Work Close to Home!
- Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm

- You will provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers
- You will provide a range of administrative support through the triaging and actioning a suite of customer requests across the department
- Assist to review and update resources, prepare reports and other documents
- Undertake data entry tasks with accuracy and proficiency, and assist in the completion of various administrative processes as required
- Manage security and access data using specialized software and hardware.
- As the role entails a large volume of data entry, the ideal candidate will have great attention to detail and accuracy, as well as strong computer literacy
- Tertiary qualification in business, administration or equivalent
- Proficient in using IT solutions to enhance electronic business processes.
- Good attitude and a willingness to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Certificate IV in Business is desirable.
- Current C class drivers
