We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Corporate Services team as a Data Analyst on a full-time basis. This position is based at our Head office in Western Junction, Tasmania.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare reports on requests including KPI reports for key functions relevant to store operations
Gather and collect data from various sources, including data bases, spreadsheets and external systems
Evaluate market and industry data for strategic insights
Identify opportunities to automate data tasks across all departments in order to improve efficiency
Conduct a thorough analysis of sales trends, patterns, and the factors influencing customer purchasing behavior within the supermarket industry framework
Identify, collect, analyse and interpret relevant data to help assist TIR strategic vision
Create and update information resources for internal and team-wide use
To succeed you will:
Tertiary qualification in Business, and/or minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
Demonstrated analytical skills
Good verbal and written communication skills,
Ability to work effectively in an established team environment,
Ability to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines,
Stay up to date with industry trends and apply best practices across the retailer network,
strong understanding of computer systems, networks and software applications,
Hold a current drivers license
