Job description

This position is a fixed term full-time opportunity commencing 8 January 2024 until 30 June 2024 with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
This selection process may be used to fill other similar at level vacancies that arise within twelve (12) months. Applicants deemed suitable but not recommended may be considered for those roles.

About the Role
This position will:

  • Utilise software and services to translate data into actionable insights, guiding DFES' strategic and tactical business decisions.
  • Access and analyze diverse data sets, crafting reports to present analytical findings to stakeholders. These reports will provide detailed intelligence about DFES Operational business, facilitating data-driven decision-making and support the public of Western Australia.
  • Provide in-depth technical advice, support, and expertise to ensure the seamless availability, accessibility, and continuity of systems supported by the Operational Information Systems Branch.

Eligibility To Apply
You must be an Australian Citizen or hold permanent residency to be considered for permanent appointments or hold a working visa covering the term of the contract (proof must be provided with your application) to be eligible for this position.
National Police Certificate
