Child Wellbeing and Mental Health Services
The Child Wellbeing and Mental Health Services focus on the delivery of student support services including support for student in the areas of disability, mental health and wellbeing, complex needs, as well as behaviour and attendance.
The key outcomes/products of the CWMHS are: closer alignment and coordination of psychological and Child Protection services delivered to schools, improved response to emerging and urgent needs with local solutions, developed in collaboration with local wellbeing teams and identification and understanding of best practice approaches to services delivery.
Data and Insight - Senior Analyst
NSW Department of Education has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to join the Child Wellbeing and Mental Services team as a Data and Insight Senior Analyst.
About the role
· Lead ongoing operational data reporting and analysis for various streams of work across the Unit.
· Support the delivery of data-informed and evidence-based recommendations using advanced analytical skills
· Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand business needs and provide solutions for effective capturing and reporting of data.
· Contribute to high-quality material preparation, supporting evidence-based decision-making
· Lead change efforts, managing projects efficiently to enhance service delivery and student outcomes
In this position, you are working with the Child Wellbeing and Mental Health Services team , focusing on enhancing service delivery to boost student outcomes. Your work will include pinpointing crucial issues, developing hypotheses, and performing in-depth analyses.
Your main task is to craft evidence-based recommendations backed by strong analytical and quantitative skills. This encompasses conducting solid research, creating compelling materials, handling data requests, and building effective collaborative relationships for successful project completion. You'll need to adeptly manage project elements for timely, budget-conscious delivery and spearhead change initiatives while navigating a complex environment that requires clear articulation of intricate concepts.
