What to expect in this role
Working with internal and external stakeholders, you will support us in delivering projects that align with our focus areas of Data Advisory, Data Architecture, Data Governance, Data Science and Analytics, Data Migration and Data integration.
Here are some of the duties you will perform:
- Lead the definition, and design of the overall Data Architecture for IT solutions, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture.
- Identify and evaluate solution options, managing any architecture issues or exemptions required.
- Ensure architecture is implemented according to design, managing changes, and stakeholder agreement.
- Maintain traceability of solutions against project objectives and requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity
- Develop data models, database design, and data integration strategies
- Evaluate and recommend data technologies and tools to support business objectives
What makes you a great fit?
- 5 years experience as a Data architect, some of which is in a state or federal government department
- Experience with data modeling tools and database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
- Experience working in a Salesforce and oracle cloud environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with various ERPs systems
- Must be an Australian citizen with a preference having a security clearance
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact with team members
