About the role:
The Data Engineer will join a small team tech Champions and develop ongoing operational efficiencies for a business experiencing rapid growth. This role will be well suited to a tenacious problem-solver. The Data Engineer will implement and support infrastructure to aid in the collection and interpretation of business data. We’re looking for self-motivated team players (that’s right!) with the ability to efficiently time manage.
What your day might look like:
- Develop and create new ETL pipelines
- Convert business requirements into technical solutions using MS Stack – Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, Dynamics
- Analyse/ interpret data to align with business goals
- Address user-reported issues promptly and efficiently
- Diagnose and resolve errors and problems within the Data Warehouse environment
- Proficiency working with Microsoft products including SQL, Azure,
- Data Factory, Data lakes.
- Dimensional and Relational data modelling techniques
- Demonstrated ability to understand and prioritise business needs.
- Ability to understand and communicate with various stake holders
- Attention to detail – identifying anomalies, inconsistent data points
- Deductive reasoning, logic, analytical and problem-solving skills
