ABOUT THE ROLE
GGV seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to fill the crucial role of Data and Privacy Officer. This role is integral to the management and safeguarding of data within our organisation, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of our data assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Oversee the collection, storage, and usage of data within the organisation, ensuring all data is accurate, consistent, and accessible.
- Data Integrity: Maintain the quality and integrity of GGV’s data asset register, ensuring it is both reliable and accurate.
- Data Security: Collaborate with service providers and the GGV workforce to monitor robust data security measures, protecting sensitive information and ensuring compliance with relevant data protection laws and regulations.
- Data Governance: Review and enforce data governance policies and procedures, ensuring data standards are met across the organisation.
- Data Relevancy: Implement and maintain processes and systems that ensure data collected is updated and relevant to organisational needs and maintain the GGV data destruction register.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various teams within the organisation to build internal capability that delivers best practice across the data management lifecycle.
