We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Debt Collection Officer to join our team in our Gold Coast Office. As a Debt Collection Officer, you will be responsible for managing and recovering debts owed to our diverse range of clients. Your exceptional negotiation and communication skills will play a crucial role in achieving successful outcomes and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts.
- Contact debtors via phone, email, and written correspondence to negotiate and implement repayment plans.
- Monitor and manage delinquent accounts, ensuring timely follow-up actions are taken.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Debt Collection Officer/ Accounts Receivable position.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations tactfully.
- Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to Debt Collection.
- Proficient in using debt management software and other relevant tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
