Our clinic is seeking an upbeat and personable individual for the role of Dental Receptionist to support a team of general and specialist dentists at our growing dental practice . The right candidate should possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to manage patient interactions with a confident yet compassionate demeanor. Impeccable phone manners is a must as you will be the initial point of contact for all patient inquiries.
Key Qualities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance and superior customer service skills
- Basic computer literacy; familiarity with dental software an advantage, but training can be provided on the job
- Familiarity with dental terminology preferred, but a willingness to learn is more essential
Responsibilities:
As the receptionist, you'll become the main point of contact for patients, managing various administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations. Your duties will include:
- Answering phone inquiries and scheduling appointments
- Managing patient appointments, including cancellations and rescheduling
- Processing payments
- Providing administrative support to our dental team as required
- We may ask you to perform other duties around the clinic during down time. However your main responsibility is the front desk.
