What You Will Be Doing
We are seeking a Dental Team Leader for full-time permanent role to complement our professional and caring multi-disciplinary team. The Dental Team Leader (Hastings), under direction of the Community Dental Program Manager, is responsible for providing leadership and line management to an integrated, multi-disciplinary Dental Team operating a multiple chair clinic and providing quality clinical care and oral health promotion in community settings. The position works in conjunction with the Clinical Head of Dentistry, Community Dental Program Team Leaders at Frankston and Rosebud]
The Peninsula Health – Community Dental Program operates 23 chairs over 4 separate sites and the School Smile Squad program: providing General, Specialist and Emergency dental care to those residing and holidaying on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula.
What You Need,
We anticipate you will have:
• A qualification as a Dental Therapist or Oral Health Therapist
• Current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated Leadership Qualities
• Act as a role model and display Peninsula Health values
• Competent and Confident with software programs including Microsoft office applications and others used by Peninsula Health Dental
• Ability to prioritise tasks
• Advanced clinical competence
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills?
