We have an immediate vacancy for 1 Permanent Full Time Dental Therapist in the Narrogin area.
The successful Dental Therapist will provide routine dental care for enrolled children in our School Dental Therapy Centres.
Duties also include, but are not limited to provision and preventive oral health services to children and provide oral health education to individuals, schools and community groups.
Location
This position is located in Narrogin whilst locations also include Darkan, Wagin, Wickepin, Lake Grace and Williams. Narrogin is an idyllic and quaint country town in WA's beautiful Wheatbelt region that offers a lot to its residents. The town is roughly 2.5-3hours drive from Perth, and contains beautiful gardens and memorials, country pubs, cafes, restaurants, and excellent schools. A town rich in history and culture.
A government vehicle will be provided for travel between Narrogin and certain towns. If a government vehicle is not available, a travel allowance is claimable for use of your own personal vehicle for certain travel between clinic locations.

Eligibility to Apply:
Applicants must be eligibile for registration by the Dental Board of Australia as a Dental Therapist or Oral Health Therapist. For further information please refer to the Dental Board of Australia.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
