Lead the planning and delivery, development and governance of quality Property and Facilities services, business processes, systems and reporting

About the Position
As the Deputy Director Campus Services, you will lead and direct the planning and delivery of the University’s property leasing, contracts management, service desk, facilities management software systems, cleaning, venue hire, fleet and security services, and will assist the Deputy Director Asset Management Planning and Projects with regards to master planning of the built and natural environments. Leading a small team, you will provide high-level advice, reporting and analysis to the Director and senior management whilst ensuring all services are delivered with an emphasis on quality, efficiency, monitoring and visibility, and excellent customer service and satisfaction. After-hours work may be necessary as required.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications and extensive relevant experience and understanding of contemporary facilities management, including workplace, health and safety or an equivalent combination of experience and education/training.
  • A proven track record in fleet services, leasing and venue hire, procurement and contractual activities and the development of business and operational plans
  • A proven track record in service improvement including, business process review and improvement, development of governance documents, development of quality systems and development of monitoring and reporting environments.
  • The demonstrated ability to think and act strategically in the development and implementation of facilities management to deliver improved outcomes within a large, complex organisational environment.
  • The demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders, assess complex facility matters, provide authoritative advice to senior managers and develop efficient services to achieve organisation goals.
  • Highly developed planning, problem-solving, consulting, interpersonal, report writing, time management and project management skills.
  • The ability to build and lead effective teams and manage resources to deliver required service targets within budgets.
