Job description

Due to the growth across Frederick Irwin Anglican School an exciting new opportunity exists for a Deputy Principal.

Frederick Irwin Anglican School is seeking an outstanding Christian educator with a refined ability to think strategi­cally and innovatively in a K-12 approach towards teaching and learning, school operations, curriculum, pedagogy, staff wellbeing and development, and to foster continuous improvement. The individual will be integral in leading and supporting the growth of Frederick Irwin Anglican School’s students, staff and educational programs. The Deputy Principal will be a relational leader with an outstanding track record for educational leadership. Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced leaders and educators. The Deputy Principal is responsible to the Principal and will support the Principal in the day-to-day operations of the school. 

It is anticipated that the appointment will commence from 1 January 2025 or earlier by negotiation.

Frederick Irwin Anglian School is a co-educational Kindergarten to Year 12 school.  We offer high quality Anglican education in a safe and nurturing environment on two campuses, Meadow Springs (Kindergarten – Year 12) and Halls Head (Kindergarten – Year 6).  Our school has beautiful facilities, a great working environment with excellent conditions.

Pastoral Care

As an Anglican School, pastoral care is extremely important at Frederick Irwin Anglican School.  This is a role of the teachers who manage the supervision and welfare of the students while at school.
