AddressRowland Engineering Supplies equipment to the recycling and waste industries throughout Australia, New Zealand and parts of Europe.
We design and fabricate materials handling equipment including hoppers, conveyors, stairs and platforms to integrate with shredders, hammer mills and baling machines.
We have diversified into assisting customers in the waste to energy / waste to chemicals sector and now work closely with partners in offering these modular systems to the Australian and New Zealand market.
We have experienced significant growth this year and as a result we are needing to expand our workforce.
Design Engineer
Description
- Become involved in the full project life cycle - from concept to manufacture.
- Provide sound mechanical designs that adheres to engineering standards.
- Develop concepts and layout studies in Inventor 3D and AutoCAD 2D
- Perform calculations and product selection.
- Participate in formal and informal design reviews.
- Focus on producing innovative and cost-effective designs.
- Focus on product and project budgeting and quoting
Profile
- Relevant qualifications (Degree/Associate Diploma/Trade).
- Experience in a similar environment.
- Sound knowledge of engineering standards.
- Working knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and 3D CAD software.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation and in all forms.
- Exceptional work ethics and the ability to work to organisational values.
