About the role:Reporting to the Research and Development Lead, you will work within the team to implement improvements to existing products in relation to both manufacturability and documentation and be actively involved in the creative process and out of the box thinking. In this role you are an integral part of the team and will be directly contributing to the improvement and manufacture of new and existing products, so a level of design experience is required.
About You:Demonstrate a practical and innovative mindset with a track record of contributing to the development and manufacture of custom products
Actively engage in hands-on product improvements, development, and prototyping to contribute to the continuous enhancement of the overall product design and functionality
Experience in preparing technical documentation and procedures to support the manufacturing and assembly of product lines
Experience in a workshop/industrial setting or through a Trade (fabrication, metalwork, or carpentry) is highly regardedA high level of efficiency using CAD (SolidWorks preferred)A general understanding of Electrical and/or MechatronicsEnthusiastic, creative, driven, focused & reliable
The ability to work and collaborate within a team environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret build requirements from clients
