About the role
Full time permanent position based in either Parkville, VIC or Milton, QLD. Reporting directly to the Team Leader Brand, you will be responsible for:
- Creating and curating compelling visual assets that are appropriate for use across a range of digital applications and print, including (but not limited to) HTML5, video, animation, illustrations and information resources.
- Applying UX and accessible design principles to creative assets including accessible PDFs.
- Acting as the brand guardian and approver, providing design checks and advice to internal teams and creative agencies.
- Leading the development and the continuous improvement of the brand style guide on a bi-annual basis.
- Contributing design expertise to the development and planning of campaigns and other major initiatives.
- Pitching ideas to leaders and team members, backed by well-written creative rationales.
- Leading and inspiring the Junior Graphic Designer, managing their development, and output.
- Influencing and managing various stakeholders including updating and communicating the status of work using internal project management tools.

About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
- Relevant qualification in graphic design or creative industries at a tertiary level.
- 2 - 3 years demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Photoshop, Animate, Illustrator, After Effects and Premier Pro. Experience in digital design tools like a WACOM, Figma and project management tools such as Asana are highly desirable.
