As a result of our continued growth, Georgiou is offering an exciting new opportunity for a talented, motivated and customer-focused Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in our NSW Business Unit. Based in North Sydney, this role will. You will have the opportunity to build a strong relationship with stakeholders at all levels within the company and provide both remote and on-site level 1 support (and sometimes level 2) to our Head Office in North Sydney and project sites across Sydney Metro areas (approx. 180 users)
You will be trusted and take ownership of the below key duties:
- Triage, assist and resolve staff service desk requests in a timely manner via ManageEngine
- Assist with employee training, onboarding and conferencing and audio-visual hardware support
- Perform asset management and maintenance, configuration and deployment of hardware (including mobile devices) in respective region
- Assist staff with implementation and support of line of business applications as well as maintain internal software user accounts
- Providing reliable on-site IT presence in our NSW business units and liaise with software vendors to resolve support requirements
- Apart from providing exceptional daily IT support, you will have the opportunity to also lead on deployments and project work as well as upskill and being exposed to all areas of IT support.
What you’re good at:
Aside from having demonstrated experience in similar Desktop Support roles, preferably with management software in a corporate environment, you are skilled in performing troubleshooting tasks, customer support ,software implementation and have in-depth knowledge of desktop hardware and core networking principles (TCP/IP, routing, DHCP, DNS etc.)
- Experience with Active Directory & Microsoft Exchange required
- Experience in using ITIL complaint call logging tools
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and above preferred
- University Degree or equivalent Certifications in IT are highly desirable
