That’s where you come in.Job DescriptionAbout the role:This is an excellent opportunity for a Desktop Support Engineer looking to:Add value leveraging their skills supporting & managing a Windows environmentExpand their skills across MacOS, Linux, Databases, Networks and ToolsBe part of a growing close-knit teamAt FinClear the Desktop Support Engineer key purpose is to collaborate with the greater infrastructure team to ensure our people are supported and able to leverage the relevant Hardware, Software Applications/ Systems and related Infrastructure to maximise their potential.This role will see you work within a team of 14 that is part of a larger cross functional technology team of 60 and growing. Support across BAU and projects are two key areas of this position where you will initially add value supporting our people.Your efforts will also help free up seniors to stand up other exciting projects that not only will fuel us for future success but also offer you exposure in other areas of infrastructure. This opportunity is ideal for someone skilled that enjoys supporting a Windows environment but wants to broaden their exposure to other parts of the world of infrastructure.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Being the focal point offering support and providing an amazing experience to our peopleProvide onsite and remote supportUnderstanding issues and troubleshootingOversee the IT-related on & off-boarding of staff along with the preparation & maintenance of required hardware and application configurationCreate & manage user/device accountsProvide technical support & rectification of technical issuesAssist with the support and management of landline, internet & mobile telecommunications Ensure the performance of local area network (LAN) applications, Wi-Fi network & IT infrastructure are optimised across all sitesEnsure secure IT systems and infrastructure across all platforms and assetsMaintain accurate ICT documentation & inventory databaseProvide support for meeting rooms with AV equipmentWork closely with all teams to enhance processes & implement new technologiesProvide advice and assistance relating to the Standard Operating Environment for end user computing devices systemsInstall equipment & test software applications as requiredSupport the roll-out of new applications and solutionsThe Tech Stack:Windows, MacOS, LinuxMicrosoft Office Application Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TeamsMicrosoft Office 365 - SharePoint, OneDriveBasic Network Configuration, Analysis and ManagementPowerShell/Batch ScriptsIvanti ITSMCrowd StrikeAtlassian Jira & ConfluenceExposure to Oracle, Postgres, MS SQL DatabaseAudio/Video Conferencing Configuration, Analysis and ManagementMulti-Function Device Configuration, Analysis and ManagementAWSQualificationsRequired:Ability to work 5 days a week from our North Sydney OfficeDemonstratable experience providing support whilst offering an exceptional customer experience1-2 years of experience supporting a Windows environmentExperience diagnosing and troubleshooting issues across: desktops, laptops, MS Office Suite, mobiles, tablets and moreCapabilities working with Active Directory & Office 365Willingness and ability to learnBonus points for:Experience implementing/creating Desktop/Laptop SOE buildsKnowledge on Mobile Device Management (MDM)Experience of cyber security processes and proceduresAssisting VIP usersITIL CertifiedAdditional InformationWhat are the ingredients to our secret sauce?
