$90,985.68 to $94,947.74  Annually  + up to 12% super

Your opportunity

Do you have a passion for Community Development and building trusted relationships? Do you have a thorough understanding and application of principles of Community Development? We have the role for you!

As our Community Development Officer, you will be responsible for the development of evidence based understanding of community issues and needs which translate into positive community outcomes, plans and policies. You will travel to our Island communities to support the needs and address the issues affecting community members.

Guided by our Values, you will:

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and facilitate community capacity building to increase supports and services to Redlands Coast Island Communities.
  • Ensure best practice approaches in council and community planning relating to community capacity building and development.
  • Research and contribute to the development of strategic and policy advice on a range of strategic options.

Eligibility

  • You'll hold a current C class Drivers' Licence.
  • You'll have the ability to work outside of standard working hours on occasion and as required.
