Development Control Officer (200005)

Maximum Term Contract Full Time - 36.25 hours per week - until 31/01/2025  

$80,253.63 to $85,988.39  Annually  + up to 12% super  

RCC Officers' Level 4

Your opportunity

Focusing on building and planning compliance across Redlands Coast, Development Control Officers work with residents to ensure compliance with State legislation, Local Laws and Redland’s Planning scheme. Working in a fast paced and reactive environment, Officers work with internal and external stakeholders to provide technical, legislative and operational advice to investigate issues and resolve enquiries. This position includes a combination of office and in-field work around the Redlands Coast to provide a high level of service to our community.

We are looking for an individual with demonstrated experience or a drive to develop skills in research, investigation, assessment and solution based outcomes. Candidates will be highly organised and will be able to effectively manage multiple cases both autonomously and in a team environment. This position will involve resolving sensitive and complex issues with a range of people from diverse backgrounds, so applicants with excellent communication skills who can confidently negotiate and resolve problems will be highly regarded.

Eligibility

  • You'll have a current open class 'C' Driver Licence
