About the roles
The Residential Project Delivery and Assets area has multiple Development Manage roles available. These roles are responsible for managing significant development projects across all aspects of the project delivery lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to completion.
The roles are required to provide expert direction and delivery and implement and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and revenue targets, ensuring successful project outcomes.
These roles will play a critical part in the Government of South Australia's commitment to ease housing supply issues, unlocking economic growth and revitalising industry and communities across the state.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Contribute to developing strategies to deliver best practice project outcomes across infrastructure, design, stakeholder relations, sales targets and general property development requirements.
- Responsible for the planning and delivery of projects, directing and contributing to multi-disciplinary project teams from initiation, planning, design and approvals through to delivery.
- Developing and maintaining project schedules, scopes, budgets and implementation plans, including risk management.
- Develop and oversee the market approach and procurement processes for all required land disposal strategies, project works, services and construction.
- Develop and review of business plans, feasibilities, strategies, programs, and progress reports for residential and strategic urban infill project developments to support Renewal SA's strategic objectives.
- Manage multiple relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, local authorities, development partners, builders, contractors, consultants and internal teams.

For this role we are seeking multiple passionate Development Managers to deliver on projects that aim to increase housing supply, diversity and affordability while at the same time considering potential community sensitivities to increasing development densities.
The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, take a collaborative approach to achieving objectives and be able to manage and work with diverse stakeholders both internally and externally. A commercial acumen combined with an ability to provide expert guidance in a fast-paced and dynamic environment will make you an asset to our organisation.
