Purpose of Role: To deliver on our growth and scale strategy by driving the acquisition, due diligence, feasibility, design and conceptualisation processes for each project, before they transition to our construction and leasing team to deliver best-in-class Specialist Disability Accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
Acquisitions: drive and lead our acquisitions capability across the eastern seaboard and consistent with our growth strategy, including developing and leading internal and external resources to achieve genuine scale in the acquisition process.
Feasibility: Develop and control project project feasibilities, identifying and capitalising on opportunities whilst identifying and mitigating risks.
Planning: Capable of driving and navigating the planning and approval processes across different state and regional jurisdictions.
Design: Driving the design development of SDA projects – both small lot and community residences.
Lead: Lead internal and external teams with strong governance and an emphasis on high quality problem solving and decision-making to drive acquisitions and projects forward.
Due Diligence: oversee the acquisition and due diligence process, including preparation and oversight of asset committee papers
Transition Management: Prior to commencement of construction, transition each project with an effective, efficient and comprehensive handover to the construction and leasing teams in a format that optimises for project success.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience overseeing the acquisition and development of residential real estate or land development projects at scale
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
- Prior experience acquiring / developing / designing residential housing projects in NSW, an advantage
- Prior experience developing either SDA, community, affordable or social housing, an advantage.
This is a hybrid role that's initially WFH, although some travel will be required and some office attendance as needed to ensure optimal collaboration, as the team grows.
