About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our local product development team. As a Development Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing project milestones from product feasibility to market launch. You will work with a small but efficient team on a diverse range of small kitchen and home appliances.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct regular WIP meeting with development team, identify project risks and benefits of proposed solutions.
- Track project progress and ensure that project is completed within scop timeline and budget.
- Liaise with vendors, finalise the project scheduling and production planning.
- Assist development manager in new product sourcing and quotation, follow up of requested new product samples.
- Work with product marketing, S&OP and our Breville Hong Kong office for new product orders, then communicate to internal stockholders the delivery schedule of new products.
- Providing support to team managers which includes generating reports, raising purchase orders, negotiating supply agreements, and improving development process.
We're Interested in Hearing from People Who Have:
- 3+ Years' experience in project management
- Experience in product development of consumer electrical or electronic industries preferable
- Relevant tertiary-level qualifications (e.g. Engineering, economics or PMP)
- Good ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, this includes strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient use of the MS Project, Excel, Powerpoint and ERP system.
- Mandarin speaking is essential
