About you

We are looking for an Account Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in an agency setting.

As an Account Manager, you naturally generate new ideas and think creatively.

Who are WE looking for? 

The Account Manager is responsible for carrying out activities to assist the client with achieving its communication goals and will deliver the highest quality of work and outstanding results. 

The role will be responsible for providing digital craft and account service support across clients in our Digital, Strategy and Creative Department (DXT). You will be responsible for the implementation of digital campaigns and overseeing key client relationships. You will work alongside the Account Director to nurture client relationships and provide strategic guidance to junior members and peers across the agency who support you on the day-to-day activation. 

Your responsibilities 

  • Identify and understand client challenges and map out a clear pathway forward for clients acting as a core digital consultant across our agency 
  • Uphold digital platform best practices and be a model in best practice across the business and accounts
  • Keep abreast of the latest digital platform trends and best practices, and provide recommendations to team members and clients as required
  • Build and implement digital campaigns on channels. This includes but is not limited to channels of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google. You will be responsible for the set-up, health and ongoing campaign activity for these campaigns, and activity includes set up of campaign shells on platform, targeting segments, A/B testing etc.
  • Create and oversee the delivery of high-quality client ready materials such as social media content, influencer briefs, thought-leadership blogs with minimal support from senior team members 
  • Run regular client status WIPs, providing Digital consultative advice, updating WIPs, digital campaign insights sharing etc.
  • Develop and lead project timelines and resources across the team to ensure team members deliver work on time and to deadline – or before
  • Consult on and curate influencer programs with ability to outreach, shortlist and demonstrate ROI
  • Ongoing optimisation and tracking across on-platform campaigns with regular performance reporting on insights to be shared for feedback with the Account Director and clients
  • Manage account service levels as required
  • Guide and support junior members, as required
  • Other duties as required

What sets YOU apart? 

Ideally, you will possess the following skills and attributes: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, Journalism, Arts, or related field is preferred, or the equivalent knowledge and/or experience. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience, preferably in an agency setting. 
  • Experience executing organic and paid digital campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn a must (experience of the different channel roles and channel targeting capabilities is a must)
  • Experience executing organic and paid campaigns across Google search and display, preferred but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, preferred but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of core digital metrics across the funnel from awareness, consideration through to conversion.
  • Experience across the influencer space highly preferred.
  • Strong oral, writing, and editing skills. 
  • Ability to form strong internal and external relationships. 
  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously. 
  • Strong ability to develop and deliver presentations and pitches to clients. 
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically. 
  • Ability to manage the day-to-day running of accounts and client interaction with support from other team members. 
  • Must possess good oral, editing and writing skills.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to generate ideas and think creatively.

Essential Criteria

  • High level information technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
