About the role We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Digital Content Coordinator to develop the digital capability of Hornsby Corps to achieve identified local mission delivery outcomes.
Reporting to the Corps Leader, this is a casual position based in Hornsby, NSW. Salary and conditions are in accordance with HAY Level 12 (Award Free). You will successfully Coordinate weekly after-school and holiday coding classes (a pilot program) for kids.
Assess and provide regular constructive feedback to students, tracking their progress and identifying areas for improvement. Encourage a growth mindset, an interest in STEM and a love for learning among students. Manage and curate content of Corps digital platforms, ensuring a consistent and engaging online presence.
Provide technology support in an integrated setting. You will have A current and valid NSW Working with Children Check .
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) A commitment to the Christian faith and mission of The Salvation Army Minimum two years’ experience working or volunteering in a faith-based organisational setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of students, parents, and community members. A passion for promoting STEM education, particularly in underprivileged communities.
