The goal of a Watt Utilities digital marketing strategy is to make sure Watt Utilities ‘voice’ is heard regularly in the marketplace. We need to give people a reason to engage with Watt Utilities by building our digital footprint. We are to create a structured and professional approach to deliver relevant information to the market, existing clients and new opportunities. Watt Utilities brand needs to be recognised as ‘the experts’ in the market when it comes to utility management, this will help reduce competitor threats and develop ‘Trust’ with our existing clients.
A Watt Utilities Digital Marketer has the capability, knowledge and requisite skills, to professionally undertake the primary responsibilities and duties listed below.
The Digital Marketer needs to not only be technically proficient, but shall also be an approachable and helpful team member.
- Work alongside an external website developer (or complete website development internally), including updating links and content using word press conduct a review of our current website and populate with relevant information. Utilise the website to attach articles for SEO.
- Work with the account managers to review analytics and reports, developing strategic plans aligned with sales objectives, and meeting on a fortnightly basis and discuss relevant information in the market on what is a hot topic and to keep the digital media strategy moving forward, with current and up to date information.
- Work with sales team to collect references and testimonials from customers.
- Maintain the Watt Utilities LinkedIn and Facebook page.
- Design, create and maintain Watt Utilities blogs.
- Design, create and maintain any other relevant social media platforms, such as X (formerly known as Twitter), Instagram etc should the need arise for Watt Utilities to have a presence on those types of social media platforms.
- Design, create and maintain all the relevant features linked in the Zoho database, including features such as Zoho links to other relevant platforms used by Watt Utilities.
- Design, create and maintain a range of brochures / PDFs / case studies / PowerPoint presentations / customer facing materials / promotional items etc, as and when required.
The candidate will be required to work in office 15-22.5 hours per week.
Studying or completing Digital Marketing or Social Media Marketing degree/diploma - highly regarded
