Digital Product Owner - Commercial

- The role of the Digital Product Owner - Commercial is to deliver Sales Funnel and Website initiatives to help achieve customer and performance targets.
- As a Digital Product Owner primarily focused on Business Insurance, you will be working closely with other Digital Product Owners, Portfolio (Product) team, Analytics, Delivery Managers, UX Designers, Content Producers, Developers, Tech Leads, and QAs to create and deliver simple and trusted digital experiences.
- You will be working across leading Australian brands like AAMI and GIO across Sales Funnel and Website.
- You will be part of a highly engaged and passionate team that is dedicated to growing the direct Business Insurance proposition by 'Making it Easy' for business customers to research, purchase, manage, and claim insurance.
- Achieve the digital sales targets through ideation, analysis and delivery of digital initiatives.
- Partner with Digital Distribution teams as well as the broader stakeholder teams to improve our Digital usability and prioritise the right initiatives to improve the customer experience and achieve our customer and performance targets.
- Utilise the full Adobe suite of products including Adobe Analytics and Target to run market leading A/B and Personalisation tests, aimed at serving amazing Digital experiences.
- Track digital performance with analytics teams to establish, measure and synthesise key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital sales journeys. Identify areas of underperformance and develop strategies to improve.
- Report on initiatives performance (inflight and post implementation reviews), providing insights and recommendations to lift sales and conversion rates.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure requirements are translated into the right digital features and effectively communicate product release contents, product capabilities and business readiness.
- Proactive approach to risk management, including compliance with digital controls (UAT/PVT processes) as well as looking for opportunities to strengthen our risk environment.
- Escalation point for operational assistance to customer support teams when required.
- Involvement in Outage/incident management.
- Tertiary qualification (Business/Commerce/IT/marketing/other related) (desired)
- 2 years' experience operating within a digital / eCommerce environment (desired)
- 2 years' experience working in Insurance (desired)
- Experience in project / initiative delivery, in an Agile environment (desired)
- Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in managing performance-based projects / initiatives.
- Have some experience in digital / marketing / customer experience.
- The ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous work environment.
- The drive to learn and an appetite to develop your career in the digital space.
- Clear communication skills both written and verbal.
- Possess an understanding the Agile principles.
- Familiar with JIRA, Confluence and Project Management tools
- Structured and logical thinking, attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills. Able to break complex problems into simpler ones and prioritise them.
