0488 681 984Position DetailsAbout the role:The Digital Program Lead is responsible for leading the delivery of strategic digital and technical website projects for Safer Care Victoria (SCV), an administrative office of the Department of Health which is responsible for clinical and professional leadership, safety, improvement and engagement in the Victorian public health system.This role is the primary contact for the Communications and Engagement branch, for internal and external stakeholders for the SCV website, and builds relationships across the department, identifying opportunities to support strategic objectives on SCV digital channels.This role oversees the planning, execution, and successful completion of complex internal and public facing digital and technical initiatives, ensuring alignment with Safer Care Victoria's strategic goals, efficient resource allocation, stakeholder communication, and the delivery of high-quality, on-time digital products.The position requires the incumbent to deliver a number of strategic outcomes for SCV, including the creation of a Digital Strategy, introduction of content governance and digital risk management, establish distributed authoring, and other activities as required by the SCV Senior Leadership Team and the Director Marketing, Communications and Engagement.This position entails overseeing the job management system and tasks, primarily handled by the Senior Digital Content Advisor, who reports directly to this role. - Lead the delivery of the digital strategy for Safer Care Victoria digital assets to ensure they align with the organisation's and the departments strategic plans and achieve organisational objectives
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for digital service delivery, including (but not limited to) software development, analytics, visual design, content development, security and accessibility.
- Manage the contracts and performance of an ecosystem of delivery partners to ensure they deliver quality outcomes based on the contractual and service level requirements.
- Ensure other SCV led digital assets are integrated with Safer Care Victoria's wider brand positioning and provide advice as required, where relevant
- Maintain project management artefacts including the monitoring and identification of risks, issues, dependencies, and financials (forecasts, actuals, variance), and manage reporting of the project's status to the website's governance layer and departmental reporting where required.
- Oversight of the job management system, leading the Senior Digital Content Advisor to triage requests and manage work allocation.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on SCV and department priorities, providing realistic timeframes for project deliverables and direction for when a project task needs to be outsourced to an external supplier to meet timeframes.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to manage a broad range of stakeholder requests across a complex organisation and negotiate, influence and resolve competing views to achieve strategic aims in line with departmental priorities and best-practice digital solutions.
- Improve the user experience of the departments websites in collaboration with the Digital Content and Digital Development and Platform teams, providing advice and expertise to deliver effective project outcomes.
- Advocate for best practice digital content and communications across all facets of digital product management and development.
- Develop, implement, maintain and monitor policies, standards, guidelines and online business processes (including content governance, distributed authoring and workflows), relating to the department's and SCV digital environment.
- Deliver strategic digital project tasks as directed by the Director Marketing, Communications and Engagement.
