Early Childhood Educators (Diploma & Certificate 3)Sustainability – Paddock to Plate – RIE & Risky Play
We are seeking passionate educators holding a Diploma or working towards a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care at our St Ives Centre. Your role may involve engaging the children in activities, following the room rituals and routine, contributing to programming, completing the floor book, and creating daily posts. You will be supported by our dedicated leadership team to help you grow and expand your knowledge as an educator.
Orchard Early Learning Centre St Ives offers a fresh approach to early learning, drawing on the natural environment to inspire children to become discoverers, learners and thinkers – holistically preparing them for a life of learning and wellbeing. Spread across 2 levels, Orchard Early Learning Centre St Ives has an amazing outdoor play area, with defined Nursery and Preschool levels. The bright and airy rooms flow directly onto the outdoor learning environments, immersing children in our Paddock to Plate philosophy.
The service operates from 6.30am - 6.30pm and is located on Mona Vale Road opposite Bridgedine College, close to public transport and local street parking available.
The person we are looking for:
- Holds a qualification in Early Childhood Education recognised qualification by ACECQA
- Holds a WWC check, current first aid and CPR qualification
- Have recently completed a child protection course
- Have Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skill, including documentation skills
- Have knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Is commitment to early years learning and best practice
- Is experienced working in long daycare
- Has a great attitude and work ethic, is a problem solver and a great team player
- Displays a passion for our service philosophies
