About the role
As the Director Digital Solution Delivery your primary responsibility will be managing a portfolio of complex Digital and ICT projects throughout their entire lifecycle. Your goal is to ensure the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of each individual project within the portfolio while meeting agreed-upon performance criteria.
This role operates in a complex environment and involves the development of a Digital Services Project Management Office (PMO). Additionally, you will establish collaborative relationships with senior and operational stakeholders, both clinical and non-clinical. These relationships are essential for creating a single, integrated portfolio of projects that align with organisational goals.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience and demonstrated performance in the management of a medium to large scale, complex Digital and ICT projects, preferably in the health care industry.
- Expertise in, and application of, appropriate project and program management methodologies including PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Programs (MSP) and Project Assurance Frameworks.
- Proven experience of establishing and managing a Program Management Office (PMO), using frameworks/methods such as PRINCE2 (project delivery), MsP (program delivery) or Portfolio, Programme and Project Office (P3O).
- Experience in stakeholder relationship management to support effective business change, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders including clinical staff.
- Proven high level negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex project environment.
- Proven experience in leading & managing high performing, multi-disciplinary teams and creating an environment that fosters collaboration, quality communications and nurtures and upskills team members.
