In this senior leadership role, you will model behaviours aligned to the CORE values of the organization. This includes ensuring that the Nursing and Midwifery teams provide a quality service with safe, efficient, and effective use of resources.The successful incumbent will be responsible for the professional leadership, management and accountability of Nursing and Midwifery services BMDAMH. The role holds the responsibility for Nursing and Midwifery policy and practice. In this position, you will aim to foster an environment that promotes personal and professional growth to achieve facility & organisational strategic direction/goals. - Relevant post graduate qualifications in clinical leadership or management; Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience in health service management, project management, business management or health-related discipline.
- Broad clinical and operational management experience at a senior level within a complex health care environment including strategic planning and the development and implementation of business / operational plans
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate inspire and organise staff to achieve organisational performance indicators and professional outcomes
- Demonstrated experience in financial and resource management at a senior level.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary management team
- Experience in managing projects within a complex health care environment
- Computer literacy, ability to trend and interpret data and competent information seeking skills.
