This position is responsible for driving strategy and delivering performance for Mercure Melbourne Doncaster and will take accountability for the commercial strategy which includes sales, business development, digital, loyalty and marketing initiatives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee and deliver performance objectives by successful delivery of Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, Guest Experience & Digital initiatives
- Leveraging the hotels competitive advantages, drive meetings & events creating tailored events & bespoke experiences.
- Establish and develop new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.
- Build and develop a high performing team by leading and mentoring with a collaborative, motivational and empowering approach.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in new business development, relationship building and developing and implementing strategic business plans.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Results driven individual with a strategic business approach to exceed performance objectives
- You will have a minimum +3 years hotel experience in a Director of Sales and Marketing role.
