The business unit within the Department of the Premier and Cabinet is leading the management and delivery of Lot Fourteen, transforming the former Royal Adelaide Hospital site into a world class innovation district with a curated, collaborative research and business ecosystem dedicated to driving productivity and solving complex global challenges. The unit is also now responsible for the implementation of the South Australia Innovation Places Leadership Framework which aims to drive the connections between government, research, industry and business for effective collaboration to make significant global impacts for the state.
The role is responsible for complex strategic analysis, stakeholder engagement, project management and the operating model planning and delivery of three major Lot Fourteen projects, funded under the Adelaide City Deal agreement, including the Innovation Hub, Australian Defence Technologies Academy and Tarrkarri – Centre for First Nations Cultures (currently paused). The role is also responsible for ideating and scoping new Projects and industry-led programs, aligned to the vision and objectives of Lot Fourteen to inform the future build form developments. The role is also responsible for initiating, developing and leading delivery of appropriate high profile projects shaping the state's innovation ecosystem.
Special Conditions:
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- This role requires a National Criminal History check.
- This role requires the incumbent to undergo psychometric testing.
Essential Qualifications:
Possess a discipline relevant tertiary qualification.
