The Director, Reform Implementation will lead implementation of key reform projects across the mental health and wellbeing portfolio. This role will also provide direction and oversight for the delivery of priority initiatives, ensuring implementation readiness; and supporting the successful stewarding of initiatives into the system. The role will build and lead the planning and transition of reform initiatives, including working actively with our key sector partners.

How you'll make a difference:
The Director will be responsible for leading reform projects and providing implementation oversight, including monitoring and reporting; the development of risk assessments; and the design of improvement strategies. The Director will be responsible for providing strategic advice to ensure resources and programs managed by the department are fit for purpose and effectively used to deliver outcomes for consumers.
The Director will ensure effective links across teams in the unit, branch, division and department to support delivery of these key initiatives. The Director will also develop and maintain strong relationships with sector partners, and other Victorian Government departments. The successful applicant will demonstrate thought leadership and an ability to influence others to maximise efficiency and effectiveness of the Victorian health workforces and improve outcomes for Victorians.
