Director, Research & Policy
Infrastructure Victoria is an independent statutory authority which provides expert advice and guides decision-making on Victoria's infrastructure needs and priorities. The Director, Research and Policy plays a key role in the research, analysis and development of infrastructure policy and reform opportunities. The successful candidate will be required to lead the delivery of projects, providing expert advice across a range of infrastructure matters, incorporating land use and infrastructure planning dimensions. The Director will apply proven leadership skills to build a cohesive, multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic environment, and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing workplace culture.
To be successful in this role you will have proven initiative and ability to plan and prioritise effectively, manage projects and people, set and achieve goals and high standards of performance. You will possess expertise, experience and credibility with stakeholders and relevant qualifications in a sector or discipline related to Infrastructure Victoria's work, such as economic analysis, business case development, land use planning, social service delivery, energy transition, transport planning or infrastructure operations.
You will have strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgement, integrity, initiative, and influence when dealing with team members, senior executives and stakeholders. You will demonstrate your capacity to contribute to a values-based, flexible workplace with a focus on staff wellbeing and high performance.
