About the Role

We are currently hiring for our team of Disability Support Workers to support NDIS participants, facilitating community access and offering in-home support. We offer flexible 24/7 shifts and competitive pay according to the SCHADS Award.

We have a range of participants with varying supports. Please apply if you have any of the following experience:

• Experience with manual handling and/or assisting with personal care
• Experience supporting people in a wheelchair in both their home and the community
• Understanding of active support models
• A genuine want to help and support people

About You

• You are passionate about supporting participants to maintain independent living
• You have previous experience working with people with disabilities, preferably within an accommodation setting
• You have transferable skills, experience and passion to support people in our communities live full and happy lives

Requirements

To apply for this role, you must have or be willing to obtain:

• Current Working with Children Check
• NDIS Worker Clearance (NDISWC)
• Current police check conducted within the last 6 months
• Valid Australian driver's license (with a reliable and comprehensively insured car)
• Current first aid and CPR certificate
• Relevant qualifications acceptable are: Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma and Degrees in relevant fields
