Position: Support Workers
Shifts Available: Day Shifts and Sleepover Shifts
YOURCARE is seeking dedicated and experienced Support Workers to join our team and work with a diverse range of clients between Ormeau and Runaway Bay. Our clients include individuals with dementia, brain injuries, and mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with domestic duties and personal care
- Administer medications as per care plans
- De-escalate challenging behaviours
- Facilitate community access and social participation
- Provide emotional support and companionship
Requirements:
- Industry experience is essential (this role is not suitable for new workers)
- Proven experience handling behaviours of concern
- Rights to work in Australia
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Card
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Manual Handling certificate
- Medication Administration certificate
- Reliable car and a valid driver's license
