About the role
We are partnering with our client to find a Dispatch Officer to join their supportive and stable team environment in their Sandgate location. In this role you will be required to provide customer service both in person and over the phone, doing some internal and external sales, looking at stock transfers and organising contractor transport for the product.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating of deliveries to customers
- Ensuring stock accuracy and levels are maintained
- Assisting with customer enquiries and order entry
- Assisting walk in customers
- Ensure safety and COR responsibilities are kept
Requirements
- High attention to detail
- Work under dead lines
- have a "can do attitude" and to be able to work with a team
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to always operate in a friendly and professional manner
- Willingness to be part of a dynamic team
- Ability to prioritise and think on your feet
- Demonstrated high level computer skills
- SAP experience is desirable

- Initial 6-month fixed term contract with potential to convert to permanent
- Paying $62k + super
