The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Dispatch Officer to join our team within our manufacturing and dispatch facility in Bomen.
The Dispatch Officer is responsible for working closely with the Senior Dispatch Officer to coordinate the receival of goods inward, and organise outbound shipments to customers both domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack domestic and international orders.
- Organise the dispatch of domestic and international orders.
- Safe unloading and loading of trucks.
- Checking goods against delivery documents.
- Complete required paperwork accurately including computer data entry and use of PDA scanners for picking and packing.
- Perform regular stocktakes and stock rotations.
- Work autonomously and as part of an integral dispatch team.
About You:
- Available to work 6am - 4pm four days per week.
- Competent computer skills and experience using the Microsoft Office suite.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 25kgs.
- A keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
- Can-do attitude and a desire to reach targets and achieve goals.
- Forward thinking with the ability to problem solve.
- Effective communication skills.
- Current forklift licence, driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
