Form of workTyremax is a leading tyre wholesaler with a national distribution network and well-established quality brands and we are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Distribution Centre Manager to oversee our new facility in Hobart.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for logistics to join our dynamic team. Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding and motivating our team to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Distribution Centre
- Stock Management - Overseeing the flow of product in and out of the warehouse in an effective and efficient manner.
- Supervise a team of warehouse staff and drivers
- Customer Service / Delivery – management of all dispatch activities and enforcement of exceptional customer service delivery protocols
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics processes
Requirements:
- Proven experience and knowledge in a similar role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Experienced in training, coaching and motivating team members
- Negotiation skills and ability to influence others
- Possession and implementation of business acumen skills
- Understanding and application of OH&S legislative requirements
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
