- Undertaking admissions including complex ones as allocated as well as using multiple approaches to clinical decision making
- Engaging in collaborative practice to achieve client outcomes with peers and team members
- Contributing to a supportive environment for colleagues and acting to enhance the professional development of self and others
- Attending to the clinical assessment of new and existing clients, initiating and facilitating care plans and controlling your own workload
- Promoting continuity of nursing care, evaluating progress towards expected outcomes and functioning in accordance with legislation and common law affecting nursing practice
- Registered Nurse qualifications, sound clinical knowledge and leadership experience in client care
- An innovative and dynamic approach to the provision of care
- Well-developed problem-solving skills particularly when dealing with complex care scenario’s
- Effective persuasion and influencing skills
- Ability to employ an education and development approach when assisting employees
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proven ability to contribute to and, work as part of a dynamic team in addition to operating independently
