About the role:
The primary purpose of the role is document management consistency, rigorously maintaining control and traceability of the documentation during the Operational Phase of the project.
Role responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures.
- Maintain the Document Review Management System (DRMS)
- Document management in accordance with established procedures and standards
- Process incoming and outgoing documentation
- General document control activities
- Assistance in the preparation, collation and issue of reports and registers as may be required.
- Monitor technical documents review and approval in accordance with agreed schedule.
- Establish and maintain the Master Document Register
- Collate, produce and submit QA Documentation.
- Ensure Document Management is managed accordingly to established procedures or standards
- Process outgoing documentation
- Ensure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are distributed internally and externally
- Implement workplace health and safety policy, procedures and legislative requirements
- Demonstrating commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ensuring all staff and contractors are appropriately trained and inducted
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work well in a team and develop collaborative working relationships
- Document management experience, preferably in a transport or related setting
- Database administration experience
- Methodical and rigorous approach to document management
- Self-motivated and desire to perform well
- Resilient and hard-working
