With a focus on business development, it is a diverse and rewarding role that oversees the development and execution of in-market tactics to achieve enrolment targets and expand the University's presence in the region.
This role is based in Melbourne and will primarily be working from home, however it is expected that the incumbent will travel regularly within the designated region and nationally, and to the Gold Coast campus as required. Due to the nature of the role, there is an expectation that the incumbent will work outside of standard business hours such as evenings and weekends.
Key responsibilities in this varied and busy role will include:
- Reviewing, developing and implementing Student Recruitment and sales strategies, including planning and executing relevant tactics, in-market activities, and student acquisition practices.
- Optimising all Student Recruitment opportunities through identifying growth business development opportunities and maintaining relationships with partner organisations, schools, TAFE/RTOs, governments, and other external stakeholders.
- Providing high-level analysis of the external environments in which the University operates, including identifying future domestic growth markets and segments.
- Represent and promote the University both internally and externally as appropriate to recruit Domestic Students for Bond University pathway programs and undergraduate and postgraduate product offerings.
The successful candidate will be a strategic and results-driven professional with strong business development and interpersonal skills.
In addition, the ideal candidate will be:
- Dynamic, outgoing, strategic, and innovative, with a consistent focus on growth, business development and sales, with a strong commitment to working collaboratively with key University staff and business areas
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline and have experience in Student Recruitment or equivalent business development and sales experience
- Able to successfully meet targets, enjoy building relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and communicate at all levels.
- Able to recognise the importance of the higher education sector. Has a passion for working for a University focused on personalised learning and providing the best student experience.
- Have a current Working with Children check (or equivalent for the relevant state) or ability to obtain.

Salary details
The salary range for this full-time position is $104,310.10 to $119,556.79 per annum, dependent on skills, qualifications and experience, plus 17.5% superannuation.
