Drafting Manager - Hvac

One of the fastest growing, and most revered mechanical contractors in the country, with offices in 3 states are on the lookout for a Drafting Manager

The Company
This prominent mechanical contractor has seen continuous success over the past 15 years, moving from a small a/c contractor to a major player the mechanical services market, involved in jobs upwards of $30 million (mechanical packages) within the commercial, institutional and industrial sectors, and have recently expanded their reach into NSW, QLD and WA.
This award winning contractor retains a family feel, with a real focus on their staff inside and outside of work, and have implemented all the cutting edge systems and softwares, and would arguably do what they do as well, if not better than anyone else in the market.
They do the right thing, and are known for it; be that with your career (reviews, pay rises, reward and recognition) or with how they deal with their clients, builders, subbies and suppliers.
The Role
As part of the Drafting and Engineering team, you will work closely with the Engineering Manager, and Directors in managing a team of Drafters in producing detailed shop drawings, and using your extensive experience in REVIT MEP, and your strong ability to work with all internal and external stakeholders involved in the job.
Drawings will be based on high-level engineering designs, engineered in-house (D+C) and will be optimised through ongoing coordination meetings with the builder and other building services contractors to address clash detection issues, and to synergy and project flow.
This role is truly a seat at the top table, along-side the Construction Manager, Service Manager, Engineering Manager, Estimating Manager, and the Directors.
Requirements
It is imperative that all applicants have sound working knowledge of REVIT MEP, and have been using it on projects in an Australian setting, and have managed a team at a minimum of Team Leader level for at least 3 years, preferably more.

You will understand what is expected in terms of Australian standards, and have superb communication skills, written and verbal, and be able to attend and retain important project information collated from ongoing meetings.
