YOUR ROLE

• Permanent Position (Full Time)
• Start ASAP

Working within the Pre-Production team & closely with the Sales team, to prepare detailed customer drawings and assisting with the coordination of projects into production.

Your role will be pivotal in delivering on our clients’ projects from the point of order through to the complete manufactured product.

Responsibilities include:

• Produce AutoCAD shop drawings in an accurate and timely manner
• Design layouts involving standard product details
• Project coordination including liaison with the Account Managers and Production teams to deliver client projects

Selection criteria for this position:

• 2 years minimum of drafting engineering drawings (in AutoCAD) 
• Experience with timber windows and doors would be an advantage or in a similar industry (Steel, Aluminium, or Ply)
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and cutting lists
• Good communication and writing skills
• High level accuracy and speed to create drawings from specifications
• Ability to work to tight schedules
• Ability to adapt, be flexible and learn quickly
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Commitment to achieving targets 
• Proactive and highly motivated
