As a part of the Aquatec Maxcon team, you'll join a group of passionate professionals who work safely, and responsibly to deliver world class solutions to exciting new projects. This role offers the opportunity to work in a diverse engineering department, facing challenges of designing and providing solutions that make a real difference to the water industry.
You will
- Develop detailed design plant layout, mechanical, structural and piping drawings to ensure high quality deliverables for proposals and delivery for applications, upgrade and creation of client’s water and wastewater assets, with a particular focus on water and waste water treatment plants.
- Work on challenging projects as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering "ingenuity in design"
- Produce project bill of materials
- Undertake drafting verification.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-discipline engineering team on project delivery
- Having accountability for the delivery of outcomes and autonomy over your own work load to meet business needs and changing priorities
- Ensure the deliverables and associated documentation are presented in a clear and concise package to enable ease of detailing and fabrication.
Applicants will ideally have
- Qualifications in either Structural/Civil or Mechanical Drafting
- Minimum of 3 years Australian design engineering experience
- Ideally software proficiency in any or all or the majority of the following software:
- Knowledge system Vault
- AutoCAD P&ID
- Plant 3D
- Advanced Steel
- Inventor
- A knowledge of major Australian Standards for design of steel structures.
- Previous experience working in treatment plant design
- Working with water and waste water treatment projects and government municipalities will be well regarded
