About the team
This role will be part of the Works Depot Operations Team. The Operations team is responsible for the delivery of services, including:
- Footpath, kerb & channel and road resurfacing capital works renewal programs
- Inspection, maintenance and repair of roads and road related infrastructure
- Operation and maintenance of stormwater drainage systems
- Drainage cleaning and pit lid replacement
- After hours on-call emergency services
About the role
The Drainage Works Supervisor provides effective leadership within the Works Depot, focusing on people development while demonstrating expert program and project management skills across diverse Works projects.
Other responsibilities include:
- Deliver proactive drainage work program for stormwater pits and pipes cleaning as per Service Level Plan
- Ensure identified defects to stormwater pits and pipes are repaired as per Road Management Plan
- Ensure allocated customer requests are investigated and actioned within time frames
- Deliver Operation, maintenance, repair, Drainage renewal works Programs
- Manage drainage maintenance contracts
About you
We are looking for an energetic and driven leader with a deep understanding of programs related to the implementation of Road Management Plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong contract and project management skills, capable of driving initiatives with efficiency.
The following is also required:
- Municipal Works and Road Construction certificate or equivalent
- Minimum Five years construction and maintenance experience in relevant fields.
- Contract Management
- Knowledge of Road Management Plan
- Well-developed computer skills
- A current Victorian Driver’s License
