Within our Industrial & Waste Services division we provide total waste management business solutions to our customers including industrial cleaning services such as non-destructive digging, concrete demolition, high pressure water blasting, vacuum loading, shutdown services, pipe, drain and tank cleaning, emergency spills response and CCTV.
Your new role:
Due to a recent promotion within the team, we are now looking for a Driver Trainer & Assessor to ensure all new and existing employees and contractors are compliant with the defined driver training as per the Cleanaway Training Framework. You will also be required to –
Lead safety awareness and compliance activities within the nominated branch/s including communication in relevant forums.
Maintain current and standardised training by staying abreast of national and local regulations and broader industry trends.
Train drivers in the use of the relevant vehicle and equipment in line with the set VoC protocol and set standard of safe driving.
Deliver role requirements efficiently considering operational requirement and budget restrictions.
About you:
Safety is in the forefront of our minds at Cleanaway so you will need to be very safety focused and familiar with the health and safety industry protocols. It would be great if you have the following:
Driving experience in the industry in a wide variety of vehicles supported by a clean personal driving history.
An HR licence is a minimum requirement, but an HC or MC licence is highly regarded.
Experience in delivering training and adult learning to a blue-collar workforce.
Diploma qualifications in occupational health and safety, or other relevant disciplines
Certificate IV Training & Assessment
